Women’s Rugby World Cup Sweepstake & Country Research
25th Sep 2025
To celebrate the Women's Rugby World Cup our pupils took part in an exciting sweepstake where each child was randomly assigned a country participating in the tournament. The students then researched their chosen country to create an informative snapshot.
As part of their research, children explored a range of facts including:
- Population
- Currency
- Traditional foods
- National flag
- Presidents or leaders
- Other key cultural and geographical information
The activity encouraged curiosity, independence and global awareness, while also helping pupils develop their research skills. Each snapshot was unique and showcased the children's creativity and enthusiasm for learning about the wider world.
