Outdoor Classroom Day
Thursday 4th November was 'Outdoor Classroom Day.' Primary 4 worked in small groups and chose a natural object that they found in school grounds. There were lots of sticks, stones and leaves to be found. Next they had to use chalk to draw a picture that incorporated their object and create a story behind the picture.
Primary 4 were extremely creative and made up some great stories. We had Stickzilla who was setting a city alight, Robin Hood's bow and arrow, a boat that was headed for a treasure island, a centipede who was going on a big journey, a restaurant with yummy food, a flower bed that was being attacked by bees, a family of potatoes who had to move house and a fishing rod that had caught a puffer fish!
We love being outside and using our school grounds to help us learn.
