Today we had the absolute pleasure of having James McNabney visit our class to talk about his rugby career and hopefully what the future holds for him.
The children had questions at the ready for James ranging from his most memorable try scoring moment, his favourite team & players and his role model (who of course was his Mum) who was with him every step of the way.
James encouraged the pupils to go after their dreams and to show perseverance in everything they do. He explained how he was a pupil at Clough PS and how he dreamed one day to play for Ulster and Ireland. This dream is fast becoming a reality as James is currently training with Ulster Rugby and has just finished playing for Ireland U20 with his aim on making the senior Ireland squad.
We want to thank James for taking the time to come down to school as we know he has a very hectic training schedule as well as helping on the family farm.
