Maths Week – 'Maths at Work'
This year, the whole school took part in Maths Week, with the exciting theme 'Maths at Work'. The week was filled with engaging activities that helped pupils discover how maths is used in everyday life and across a wide range of careers.
From problem-solving challenges to real-world investigations, students explored how maths plays a vital role in professions such as architecture, finance, data analysts to name a few. It was a fun and eye-opening experience that truly highlighted the message that maths is everywhere.
We would like to extend a thankyou to the parents who kindly took time out of their busy schedules to come in and speak to our children about how they use maths in their jobs. These real-life insights helped our pupils see the importance of maths beyond the classroom and how it plays a vital role in a wide range of careers
The week was thoroughly enjoyed by all and helped to inspire a deeper appreciation for the subject. We look forward to continuing to build on this enthusiasm throughout the year!
