Today we learnt how to use an Atlas properly to identify the continents and oceans in the world. The children can now identify all seven continents on a world map and know the names of the oceans.
We also looked at the globe in the classroom to learn about The Equator and where Northern Ireland is in relation to other countries. We even talked about why some countries experience warm weather all year round and a little about why we have day and night.
