We’ve had a fantastic first day on our residential trip! The children arrived safely, unpacked, and jumped straight into an action-packed afternoon. The girls showed great courage and teamwork while taking on abseiling and archery. There were lots of cheers, a few nervous laughs, and plenty of proud moments as everyone challenged themselves and supported each other.
The boys had a blast bouldering, working their way through the streams and rock pools and having a great time slashing in the water.
After a well-earned dinner, the children spent the evening doing archery tag and rock climbing relaxing, chatting, and enjoying time with friends before having a camp fire with toasted marshmallows and smores. They’re all tired in the best possible way, in great spirits, and looking forward to another busy day tomorrow. So far, lots of smiles and plenty of memories already made!
