Today was our first day of our residential – and what a day we had!
We arrived just before lunch and got settled into our accommodation. After a quick look around the site, we headed for lunch where we enjoyed hot dogs and chips.
In the afternoon, the children took part in their first set of activities, including paddle boarding, abseiling, archery and bouldering. Everyone had a fantastic time.
We returned to the centre for dinner, with a choice of gammon or spaghetti bolognese – both went down a treat!
Our evening activities included zip lining, teamwork challenges, archery tag and rock climbing. There was plenty of energy and excitement all round.
To finish the day, we gathered around the fire and enjoyed s’mores – a perfect end to a brilliant first day.
All the children are now tucked up in bed after a very busy day, excited for what tomorrow will bring.
