On Thursday some P6/7s attended a netball Blitz at Coleraine University. A total of 14 primary school teams took part and we were placed in a group with seven teams meaning we had six matches.
Each member of the team who took to the court showed great determination and teamwork in order to play the ball up and down the court. Our two shooters for the day, Ava and Zara, played brilliantly and as the day progressed they didn't miss many goals. All the other players showed great skill each time they stepped on court.
Out of the six matches we won four, drew one and got beat in one. This was a great learning curve for the girls and I have no doubt they will only get better and better each time they play together.
We now look forward to the Coleraine and Ballymena District Netball NI League in the next couple of months.
