Today we were delighted to welcome Rebecca from the Cancer Fund for Children into school. As you may be aware we ran a 'Read on' where children were encouraged to read each day and raise some sponsorship money.
We were absolutely delighted to give Rebecca a total sum of £2000 today.
Rebecca spoke to us about the charity and how our money will be used. She showed us a video of Daisy Lodge in Newcastle and we listened to how this really benefits both adults and children.
We are totally overwhelmed with the support from our families and staff in school and are truly amazed at how much money we raised.
The Cancer Fund for Children is a charity very close to our hearts in Clough and we want to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated and encouraged their children to participate.
