Today P6&7 were introduced to orienteering. They began by watching a video on orienteering and looked at the equipment needed. We then headed outside to study the map of our school grounds and had a go at using the punches on the control cards. In pairs they then had a go at following a route marked out on the map to see if they could find all 8 controls.
They had a great afternoon and can't wait to try more orienteering in the weeks ahead.
