To consolidate our learning on plotting and reading coordinates in all four quadrants, pupils took part in a fun and interactive lesson using geoboards and a game of Battleships. This hands-on activity helped reinforce key mathematical skills, encouraging children to think carefully about both plotting points and reading coordinates accurately.
Using geoboards allowed pupils to visualise the coordinate grid and understand how each quadrant works. The game of Battleships added a competitive element, making the learning memorable and enjoyable.
It was a fantastic way to apply classroom knowledge in a practical way.
