Getting ready to write in Primary 1. We use chalk, shaving foam , paint, whiteboards,iPads, felt-tips and lots of fine motor skills with lacing, dough, peg boards and tweezers.
Learning about numbers, writing numbers, sorting, counting, making 2D shapes and simple patterns have been keeping us busy in P1 in our first term.
We had a fun day decorating and eating buns to raise money for the Macmillan nurses.
Do you like our lovely newly painted classroom with new chairs , tables and a Christmas tree?
Primary 1 enjoy music and movement with Gillian from Jo Jingles. We do singing, playing different instruments each week and listening and responding to the rhythm and beat of the music. We have looked at nocturnal animals, night time, space and we are now looking forward to Santa’s letters and Christmas.
Come into our Primary 1 room and see what we have been doing in class this term.
