Birds in Nursery 🐦
In Nursery we have been learning all about birds in Winter. 🐦 We loved looking through our binoculars to see if we could spy different kinds of birds at out bird watching station. We enjoyed using modelling clay to create our own birds and painted them using lots of different colours. We wanted to take care of the birds so we decided to make bird feeders and put them in our gardens. We hope the birds enjoyed these snacks. We also had a special visitor called George come to our Nursery. He told us how we can help baby birds and showed us how to make a nesting-box. It was great fun helping George build the bird box. We wrote letters to George to tell him why we would love to have a nesting-box in our gardens. We have posted the letters to George and we can’t wait to find out who gets to take the nesting-box home to help take care of the little birds. 😊
