Today our netball team travelled to Seven Towers Leisure Centre to participate in the netball tournament organised by the Ballymena and District Primary School's Netball Association.
Having previously won the last tournament here we wanted to go out and play our best to try and make us double winners. I had no doubt the girls were going to give it their all and they definitely did that.
In our Section B we had five games in total and won all these games, without conceding a goal, to make it to the final. In the final we played the winners of Section A who were Moorfields. This was our toughest game but our girls played their hearts out and won 3-1.
Each and every one of the girls who took to the court was a credit to our school and to themselves and never gave up. I can tell you all that I am one very happy coach and proud of how far your netball skills have came on, individually and as a team, since we started out before Christmas.
